MalariaGEN Consortial paper published in Nature

Our first paper was published in Nature on 11 December 2008. The commentary article, A global network for investigating the genomic epidemiology of malaria, explores how we've used a consortial approach to overcome the challenges of undertaking genome wide association studies of malaria.

In the paper, we describe how established MalariaGEN as a global research network, how we've dealt with standardising and integrating data, and engaged with ethical issues. We also explore prospects are for the future.
